Before They Were Movies
The Before They Were Movies series celebrates two stage productions that are sure to be adapted for the
big screen
Letting Go Of God
Talented writer/actor Julia Sweeney's latest one-woman show is a refreshing, intellectually challenging
telling of her spiritual journey from devout Catholic schoolgirl to someone grappling with a modern,
scientific view of the world. After playing for months to great critical acclaim, this performance may be
the final opportunity to see the production live.
The Possession of Mrs. Jones
Only one desperate housewife can save the day when Heaven is bought out by a mega-corporation in this
over-the-top rock musical from the outrageous mind of playwright D'Arcy Drollinger. Charles Herman-Wurmfield
(Kissing Jessica Stein) directs this exclusive sneak preview, to be followed by a limited run at the Zephyr Theatre.
