Robert Towne's L.A.
Robert Towne is a four-time Academy Award nominee best known for his Oscar-winning classic,
Chinatown. A native of Los Angeles, Towne has used the City of Angels as muse and backdrop for much
of his work, including Shampoo, Tequila Sunrise, and his latest project, Ask the Dust. Join us for
this special evening moderated by Elvis Mitchell in which Towne will show clips and discuss his
relationship with L.A. as a character and a location in his work.
