LA Film Festival

For ten days every June, more than 60,000 people descend on the Los Angeles Film Festival to see and celebrate the best of American and international cinema. We rely on the help of hundreds of volunteers and interns to make the Festival a great experience for everyone who attends.

I want to welcome all our returning volunteers as well as any new volunteers that are joining us for the 2006 Los Angeles Film Festival. I really look forward to working with you all this year.

I think that volunteering for the Festival is an invaluable and rewarding experience. I too was a volunteer three years ago and have been working on staff ever since. Not only did I find a job, I have made great business contacts in the industry, got a great experience, had fun,
watched some creative films and, most importantly, made some wonderful friends. I highly encourage everyone to volunteer—may it be for the
Festival or any other organization. It is definitely a rewarding experience.
