In Joshua Grannell’s spot-on homage to horror movies, Deborah, a mousy librarian with stars in her eyes, becomes the homicidal proprietress of a midnight movie palace. Capturing her killings in a series of elaborate Grand Guignol snuff films, Deborah is hailed as an outré horror savant. Emboldened by the glow of the spotlight, she recruits a sociopathic crew, including murderous identical twins and a cadaverous projectionist, to help lure her unwitting stars from the aisles and onto the silver screen. Problems arise when the bodies begin to pile up like spilled popcorn and a starstruck fan attempts to peek behind the red curtain. Can he stop Deborah before she makes her next masterpiece‾

As our delightfully unhinged heroine, Natasha Lyonne doesn’t just chew up the scenery. She devours it!
